Happy Sunday and Happy October!! Can you believe we are only two months away from 2017?! Insane!!
I love to shop a lot so I have a bad habit of buying things and forgetting about them. Then I find them a year or so later and they just happen to be on trend! Well, that’s the story with this dress. I bought this dress about two years ago and now tulle is everywhere this season and I’m not mad about it. Whenever I see tulle, it brings me back to my ballet days.
The top of this dress is a cami style so I decided to add a crop top over the top half of the dress to make this look more casual and fun while keeping me warm. As I’ve gotten older I’ve moved away from buying graphic tees but couldn’t resist the text on this tee and how relatable it is to everyday life.
I put on a pair of moto boots I purchased a few years ago at Vince Camuto. They were the ‘must have’ boot at the time and I waited weeks for my size to come back in stock. I am happy that Vince Camuto still sells them! They are so chic, versatile and so comfortable. I love pairing them with skirts and dresses as much as I love dressing them down with a pair of distressed jeans.
I have been opting for smaller bags on the weekend lately since I’m usually carrying less than I am during the week. I grabbed my Mini Rockie bag and you’d be surprised at how much I can fit in this small bag! I thought this bag was the perfect match for this outfit’s neutral color palette – a nice subtle pop of color!
I kept my accessories minimal to a few big rings and spiked bracelets around my watch. I also grabbed – yes, another pair of Quay sunnies – to complete the look. I love the large mirrored frames and I just feel so fabulous when wearing these! 🙂
